Journeys
Somewhere waiting to be discovered
A considered collection of journeys, shaped around the places, experiences and the way we believe they should be travelled.
Albania
Unfolded
Albania is a country that reveals itself slowly.
Across ten days, this journey moves from the layered streets of Tirana and the mountain stronghold of Kruja to the ancient ruins of Apollonia, the stone villages of Berat and Gjirokastër, and the extraordinary archaeological landscape of Butrint. Further south, the pace changes entirely as the Ionian coast comes into view—turquoise coves, quiet beaches, long lunches, mountain roads and evenings that invite you to linger a little longer.
Along the way, there are stories of empires and resistance, Ottoman architecture and ancient civilisations, local kitchens and family traditions. There is time for the unexpected too: a boat across Lake Skadar, a walk through the forest to the Blue Eye, a cooking experience in Berat, and days given over simply to the sea.
This is Albania beyond the obvious—a journey shaped around its contrasts, its landscapes and the people who give the country its character.
Tuscany
Florence to the Vineyards
Tuscany rewards those who slow down. Eight days move from Florence's Renaissance streets to the vineyards of Chianti, the cellars of Montepulciano and Montalcino, and a private truffle hunt through land that has barely changed in centuries — closing not in Tuscany itself, but in Milan, one last stop before the flight home.
Ireland
The Wild Atlantic Way
Ireland's west coast doesn't ask to be rushed — it asks to be driven, slowly, with the windows down more often than not. This is the one journey in the collection built around independence rather than being entirely taken care of: a self-drive route along some of the most dramatic coastline in Europe, from Dublin's Georgian streets to a night inside an actual medieval castle. For those who'd rather not hold the wheel, a private driver can take over the whole route instead, the itinerary underneath stays exactly the same either way.
Morocco
Granite, Sand & Salt
Most Morocco itineraries move between the same four names, usually in the same order. This one moves through the country's other half instead — the Anti-Atlas rather than the High Atlas, a dune sea reached by a full day's drive rather than a two-hour shortcut, and an Atlantic lagoon most visitors have never heard of.
Let’s see a different side of Morocco.
Japan
Guardians of Tradition
Most travellers see Japan through its calm — gardens, tea, silence. This journey of eleven days moves through its other half: the Japan of warlords and mountain warriors, of blades folded a thousand times and castles built to withstand siege. It runs from the harbour city of Kobe to the snow country of Kanazawa, tracing the lineage of a warrior culture through the hands still practising it.
